Echigo Seika Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture; President and CEO: Tadahiko Yoshihara) obtained FSSC 22000 certification, an international food safety system certification standard, for the rice cracker and confectionery manufacturing process at its Katakai factory on August 21, 2025.

Echigo Seika has made "making food that can be eaten with peace of mind" one of its company mottos, and has been working to produce safe and secure food products based on ISO9001 and JFS-B standards. In recent years, as consumer interest in food safety has increased, we have obtained FSSC22000 certification in order to further strengthen our quality assurance system and improve our competitiveness in overseas markets.
