Echigo Seika Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture; President and CEO: Yoshihara Tadahiko) has decided to revise the prices and discontinue sales of its Kagami mochi products starting with the 2025 shipment (shipping begins Friday, August 8, 1).

　Due to the recent sudden increase in the price of raw rice, as well as the ongoing increases in packaging costs, energy costs, logistics costs, labor costs, etc., it has become extremely difficult to absorb these costs through our own efforts alone, so we have no choice but to revise the prices of our Kagami Mochi products and discontinue sales of some products.
