As part of our efforts to achieve the SDGs*1, we have set goals using PIF*2 and have announced our intention to put our corporate philosophy, the Echigo Seika Five Precepts, into practice in a more concrete way.

Health management declaration

We have established the "Health and Productivity Management Declaration," which is our basic policy for health and productivity management, and have expressed our commitment to proactively working toward health and productivity management.

Echigo Seika practices health management that allows each and every employee to work energetically and in good physical and mental health, and to maximize their individual capabilities. DX (Digital Transformation) Declaration

On March 31, 2025, Echigo Seika established the "DX Declaration," a basic policy for internal DX, clarifying its commitment to promoting it as a unified effort by all employees.

What is DX?

This is an initiative in which companies utilize the latest IT technology to fundamentally transform their business processes, organizational culture, customer experience, and even their business models themselves.

DX Vision

  • We will improve the efficiency of internal operations through the use of IT and create a working environment where executives and employees can work more enthusiastically.
  • We will review our existing business practices and provide "new value" to everyone involved with our company.

DX promotion goals

  • Achieve an average annual number of paid vacation days taken of 13 days or more (until the fiscal year ending March 2028)
  • Reduce average annual overtime hours by 20% (until the fiscal year ending March 2028)

DX strategies and measures

Phase 1 (2025)

Deepen understanding of DX and increase momentum for DX within the company

  • To deepen each individual's understanding of DX, we will share basic knowledge and usage methods of spreadsheet software, etc.
  • Identify inefficient work that can be resolved by each individual, line, or department, and begin to make improvements.

Phase 2 (2026)

Focus on inefficient operations across the company and begin formulating plans for improvement

  • Identify issues and specific problems to realize the DX vision and incorporate them into improvement plans
  • Led by the DX Promotion Team, we will begin initiatives in order, starting with high-priority actions.
  • To resolve issues and specific problems that cross departments and bases, a project team consisting of relevant departments and headquarters will be formed to resolve the issue.

Phase 3 (2027)

Achieve your DX vision by steadily implementing your plan

  • By implementing the plan, we will achieve efficiency and sophistication in each internal business.
  • Concentrate management resources on improving service levels and developing new products to provide new value to customers.

Establishment of the "Echigo Seika Code of Conduct"

Echigo Seika has established a code of conduct based on the "Five Precepts of Echigo Seika," clarifying our company policy regarding the social responsibilities that we must fulfill as a company, and each and every executive and employee will strive to ensure thorough compliance.
